Woodpecker Lodge Features

Lodge

Set over 3 levels, this cosy lodge features just 8 rooms, perfect for those wanting a quieter place to relax in after a big day up on the ski hill. The shared lounge room features some comfortable couches making it the ideal place to relax in while playing some games, taking in the view of the Madarao Mountain range or simply using the time to catch up on a good book. Guests have access to WiFi, a ski drying room, self-serve tea and coffee facilities and an onsite onsen. Complimentary continental breakfast is included.

Location

Ideally located in a ski-in/ski-out position, just 70 metres away from the children’s ski runs and with access straight into the main ski valley.  There is a number of quality restaurants close by plus two hot springs, offering the perfect end to a big day up on the ski hill.

Rooms

The rooms are clean and comfortable with basic amenities. The lodge includes two twin rooms with ensuites, four twin rooms with shared facilities and two family rooms with shared facilities. Linen is included, WiFi and individual heating. The bedding is western style double beds in the twin rooms and the family room offering two doubles.

Facilities

There are separate men's and women's bathroom with Japanese style toilets, showers and traditional onsen facilities.

Breakfast

Breakfast usually consists of eggs, porridge, cereals, toast, fruit, tea and coffee, it is served in the dining room that overlooks the mountains – no better way to start your day.
