Big Fight Matsumoto is a fly and lure fishing area in Summer and offers Ice Fishing in the Winter. The area consists of 7 private ponds for trout fishing. Located close to Rusutsu, this is an ideal activity for people looking for a break during their holiday.

With access to some of Niseko’s most exciting terrain, a day on the Cat will undoubtedly be a highlight of your time in Niseko. Fat Bikes give you with traction on any terrain - sand, mud, snow and ice. Hire a fat bike and try out bike trails hiding in the forest. The bike trails have been designed to international standards, you can try out the jumps, dips and weaves of the trail. Or, just go and explore the area.
This is not for the faint of heart, nor for the inexperienced. If you have extensive experience dirt biking or motor cross racing this is the tour for you! Spend a full day backcountry, hitting the features and streaming through powder on a selection snow bikes. All snowbikes are 2016 models from KTM, Husqvarna and Yamaha.
The Hokkaido Backcountry Club (HBC) is a club dedicated to increasing awareness, education, cooperation and information exchange between recreational skiers, snowboarders, snowmobile enthusiasts, guiding companies, heli and cat ski operators, and the Hokkaido government. HBC offers a meeting place, both online and offline, to discuss access and safety issues as they relate to mountain snow sports in Japan.
The Shimamaki CAT skiing zone reaches up to 1,520 metres at the top of Mt. Kariba and runs descend an average of 450 vertical metres. The terrain is a mix of open alpine bowls and perfectly spaced trees. Slopes range from 15-35 degrees (a typical resort black run is 32º). On average guests ski and ride 4,000 vertical metres of powdery snow; the max record stands at 13 runs (6,500 meters). 2 and 4 day tours available.
Otoe Powder Cat is located near Asahikawa, Furano and Asahidake. The mountain is a fantastic mix of tree runs which Hokkaido is famous for and long treeless runs. The CAT mountain is a huge area with endless powder. Lunch is taken in a local restaurant and of course there is an onsen for those of that enjoy a good hot soak after a day in the powder. Pick-ups are available from Hirafu, Niseko and drop-off at Fukagawa to spend a night, before the CAT tour the next day.

Chisenupuri is a part of Niseko mountain range, on the West side of Mt. Niseko Annupuri. The CAT operates on an old ski resort and offers some the best un-groomed terrain in the area. The CAT runs to 832m vertical and make a small hike to the peak to get additional 300m.
