Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is located just 1.5 hours by road North East from Chitose Airport. Like many of the Hokkaido ski resorts, Tomamu receives an average of 8+ meters of incredibly dry powder snow per season. The resort is open from early December to late March and over the last few years, has been upgrading the lifts and facilities.

The new Express quad transports skiers from half way up the mountain to the summit in just under 7.5 minutes. Tomamu has recently introduced dedicated powder areas where grooming is Taboo, they have extended the family and kids area (Adventure Mountain), as well as increasing the services of the ski and snowboard school, including 'certified' English speaking instructors.

Tomamu is ideal for those seeking a Japan ski resort experience that delivers both exceptional resort facilities, with plenty on offer for advanced skiers and boarders and heavy average snowfall per season. Tomamu offers excellent resort facilities making it a great family friendly resort. While Tomamu does not have a village, the existing hotels offer enough restaurants and apres activities. If you are looking for nightlife, Tomamu is not going to provide that.
