New lift in Niseko Japan for the 2017-18 winter

Exciting new lift in Niseko for the 2017-18 winter

The new Family Quad, a high-speed, detachable quad chair replaces the existing Family Pair. For those who have been to Niseko before, you will be aware this existing lift does experience long wait times especially during peak periods. The new lift will more than double lift capacity and travels even further up the hill, about 300m above the base of the Ace Quad lift.

To increase space for the GoSnow’s magic carpet and beginner zone, the new base will move about 40 metres up the hill, this too will alleviate the existing congestion.

This is great news for Niseko! Be one of the first to jump on the new lift and book your holiday to Niseko now. For all our Niseko specials and accommodation jump on our Niseko page or send through an enquiry.

UPDATE: 30 Aug 2017

Construction is well underway for the Ace Family Quad. The new lift line has been cleared, foundations laid and concrete bases set. The next stage will be for the towers to be anchored. All is on track to be ready for the start of the 2017/18 season.

The second new lift, the new Dream #1 Quad in Niseko Annupuri is also moving ahead with the lift line cleared ready for the foundations to be laid. This new lift opens up greater access to beginner slopes in Annupuri. The existing run will widen and the lift will run at slower pace than the existing lift providing a perfect and safe beginners area for skiers and snowboarders.
