The Akakura Central Hotel is located right on the ski area offering ski in/ski out access. Transfers from Tokyo will drop you off directly at the property, if you are catching the train to JR Myokokogen Interchange take a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel or a bus to Akakura Onsen Iriguchi bus stop, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from there. Car parks are limited and is not recommended.
There are 51 hotels with a choice of Japanese, western or combination style rooms to select from. Some come with private ensuites, others have access to shared men’s or women’s bathroom facilities.
