As the first snow falls over Japan, it is unlikely Australians will get to visit for the 2020-21 season (lets hope its not a bumper season). As we wait for advice from the government, we can now only hope that a travel bubble does open between Australia and Japan ready for the 2021-22 season. Early advice suggests Japan is wanting to open its boarders in April 2021.
For those (lucky enough to be) in Japan, the 2020-21 season will be very different. Aside from social distancing restrictions, many transfers to ski resorts and shuttles within the resorts have been suspended for 2020-21.
