Myoko Kogen Ski Resort is located one hour north of Nagano Japan in the Niigata prefecture. Founded in the 1930’s, Myoko Kogen ski resort is claimed to be the oldest ski area in Japan

Myoko Kogen Sk Resort is made up of a group of ski areas, linked by shuttle bus. Myoko Akakura Kanko which includes Akakura Onsen, Myoko Suginohara and Ikenotaira Onsen, and all are linked by shuttle bus and available in the Myoko Big 4 lift pass for international travelers. To use the pass at Suginohara or Ikenotaira you will need to take a shuttle bus, as these resorts aren't linked to the two main areas; Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko.

With up to 15 metres of snow 'Japow' each season, you won't be disappointed. Myoko offers excellent English speak ski schools.
