Set in a great location of Upper Hirafu, it is possible to ski back to the lodge or you can simply enjoy the 5-minute stroll. After being fully renovated in 2016, the whole lodge has a fresh feel while still being traditional. Communal areas are spacious and welcoming, rooms are renewed and comfortable. After skiing all day, if you haven’t had enough of the stunning views Mt Yotei, you can come back to the lodge and enjoy this scenery once more from the southern facing rooms which offer picturesque views. Smoking rooms are available so be sure to request a non-smoking room if this is your preference.
This well-established Lodge, which has been running since Niseko ski resort first started operation, has an overall warm and welcoming feeling. The open plan lobby, lounge and dining room makes the perfect environment to meet likeminded travelers and share your ski and snowboard stories of the day. Mt Yotei is framed by the windows of the dining room, a perfect breakfast view. The separate women’s and men’s bath provides a perfect way to relax after a big day up on the ski hill. The lounge area includes tea and coffee facilities plus a vending machine, great for an afternoon snack. Other facilities include a laundry room, drying room, ski lockers, waxing station plus free WiFi in the building.
Positioned in a fantastic spot in Upper Hirafu it is only 150m from the gondola base. The lodge offers free morning transfers every 15 minutes (between 8:15-10am) to the gondola base. In the afternoon, make the most of its location and ski back. If you sleep in, it is only a 5-minute walk or use the village shuttle. There are an array of restaurants and bars in the upper village, or catch the village shuttle to the middle village for a larger variety.
Rooms are spacious and modern featuring two western style beds, a modern ensuite with shower and toilet, a small table and chairs, LCD TV, small fridge and towels. The southern facing rooms offers stunning views of Mt Yotei, worth the upgrade. Rooms sleep up to 3 adults.
