SNOWGUM LODGE

Genuine ski lodge accommodation set on the outskirts of Hirafu. Snowgum Lodge provides spacious and homely lodge accommodation with twin, bunk and villa rooms, suitable for any budget. Managed by some amazing Japanese and Australians, guests are given a unique and openhearted Niseko experience. Guests have access to the bar and restaurant at the sister property, Ramat Lodge which is next door.  

RAMAT LODGE

Ramat provides some of Niseko’s best lodge accommodation. The village centre and ski lifts are just a short shuttle bus ride away. Rooms range from spacious private twin rooms to dorm style rooms with shared facilities. Guest have access to the bar, spacious lounge rooms, dining room, WiFi plus the facilities at the sister property, Snowgum Lodge, next door.

Snowgum Lodge

A large and homely lodge with good, clean accommodation, run by some incredible Japanese and Australians, who go out of their way to ensure all guests have a wonderful experience. The lodge can sleep up to 30 people in twin and dorm rooms with shared facilities and a private villa. Continental breakfast is served daily. There is an emphasis on the communal lounge rooms, which provide all guests with enough space to relax and catch up with like-minded travellers. Shared kitchen facilities are available. The lodge is run in conjunction with Ramat Lodge, next door and guest can use facilities at both properties. Guests can keep in touch with home with free WiFi

Amenities

The twin rooms and bunk rooms make use of shared facilities. There are male and female toilets with heated seats on both levels of the lodge. On the top level, there are large male and female showers plus a large cosmetic area.

Rooms

Twin rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable with a queen bed or twin beds, sleeping a maximum of two people. They include a small fridge, a desk and individual heating. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests at the Snowgum Lodge.

Bunk rooms provide clean and comfortable dorm style accommodation. Beds are sold individually and can sleep up to 6 people in each. They are ideal for people travelling on their own and happy to share with new friends. The room has a large storage area and small fridge. As with any dorm style accommodation, it is advisable to bring your own luggage padlocks. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests at the Snowgum Lodge.

A four bedroom villa provides self-contained accommodation within Snowgum Lodge with 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a cosy living area with fireplace, TV and a private dining room. This can sleep up to 10 guests.

Self-service kitchen

A commercial grade kitchen is available for all guests to share. Staff can assist guests with grocery shopping.

Common Areas

An enormous lounge with TV, fireplace and dining area is the perfect area to start and finish the day in this cosy lodge. A second lounge area with TV is upstairs. The lodge provides plenty of space for all guests to relax and unwind after a big day on the mountain. The bar at Ramat is open between 4-10pm Wed-Mon.

Location of Snowgum & Ramat

Set in a tranquil part of Izumikyo 2, the village shuttle stop is only a 100m walk away. This travels the 2kms between Izumikyo 2 to the lifts and the 1km to the village centre of Hirafu. Snowgum Lodge also provides guests with a free morning shuttle to the lift, perfect for those wanting fresh tracks. There is a small range of restaurants close by, alternatively Snowgum will provide a nightly service to and from Hirafu up to 10:30pm for those wanting to try all that Hirafu village offers.

Continental breakfast for both lodges

Provided daily in the dining room between 7-9am. Offering a selection of toast, cereals, eggs, yoghurt, juice and coffee.

 

Ramat Lodge

The lodge is large and homely offering good, clean accommodation, with some of the largest rooms in all of Niseko. Run by some wonderful Japanese and Australians, who simply go out of their way to ensure all guests have a wonderful experience. The lodge can sleep up to 42 people in twin rooms with private facilities and dorm rooms with shared facilities plus a private apartment. Continental breakfast is served daily. There is an emphasis on the communal lounge rooms, which provide all guests with enough space to relax and catch up with like-minded travellers. The lodge is run in conjunction with Snowgum Lodge, next door and guest can use facilities at both properties. Guests can keep in touch with home with free WiFi.

The bunk rooms make use of shared facilities. There are male and female bathrooms.

Rooms

King rooms are huge with a western king split bed, ensuite with bath and shower, sitting area, fridge, flat-screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, WiFi and mountain views.

Twin rooms are spacious with a double bed or twin beds, a sofa, ensuite with bath and shower, fridge, flat-screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, WiFi and some have mountain views.

Bunk rooms provide clean and comfortable dorm style accommodation. Beds are sold individually and can sleep up to 8 people in each room. They are ideal for people travelling on their own and happy to share with new friends. The room has a large storage area, small fridge and WiFi. As with any dorm style accommodation, it is advisable to bring your own luggage padlocks. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests at the Ramat Lodge. Some bunk rooms are Tatami rooms with traditional tatami (woven straw) flooring.

A two bedroom apartment has its own kitchen, dining, TV area and bathroom. One room has a queen split bed, the second room has a queen bunk, sleeping up to 6 people.

Self-service kitchen

A commercial grade kitchen is available for all guests to share at Snowgum Lodge, next door to Ramat. Staff can assist guests with grocery shopping.

Common Areas

Ramat bar is open between 4-10pm Wed-Mon. It has three beers on tap and a fully stocked cabinet. They offer a delicious snack menu, which can be enjoyed over a game of pool, darts, cards or watching cable TV. Next to the bar is a large and relaxing lounge area. The second lounge room is downstairs and includes a fireplace and LCD TV with PlayStation.
