The layout of Yotei Cottage is truly unique. The lower level presents a compact room with a basic kitchen, sitting area with flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo, WiFi, gas fireplace and a dining table and five chairs. The next level is an open plan bedroom with no door or walls. It has a western king split bed and curtains for privacy. The top level again has no doors or walls. This area has three single beds and curtains for privacy. The bathroom is a Japanese style with a deep bath. There is a separate toilet and washing machine. This is ideal for those just looking for a clean and easy place to stay that is close enough to restaurants, bars and the village shuttle stop.
Set in lower Hirafu Village, Yotei Cottage is close by to many of the best restaurants in the lower village. It is moments away from the must visit Yukoro onsen and the village shuttle stop. It is a 15 minute walk up hill to the closest lift, the better option is to jump on the village shuttle bus.
The sleeping areas are very different from most other properties in Hirafu. With no actual defined bedrooms, guests need to be prepared. There are no walls or doors. Curtains are all that divide the areas. The first room has a king split western bed. The top level has three single western beds.
